I was back in the Allbrighton Centre this morning for hustings in front of 20 people from SPA.
Then in the evening on to Southwark Tenants' Association hustings with an audience of 50 people where the topic was housing. UKIP wants to generate a brownfield revolution, where 100,000 houses a year are built on brownfield sites with tax breaks for decontamination. Where council estates are regenerated, local people will have the final say, as a binding referendum can be called on large planning applications. This will stop the injustice of council tenants and leaseholders being forced out of London as happenned on the Heygate Estate.
